A recognised high volume manufacturer are currently looking to strengthen their Engineering department with the appointment of a Fabricator.
As Fabricator, you will be responsible for carrying outfabricationwork in line with the schedule and processes.
- To work with the maintenance department on repairs
- To work cross functionally on projects and improvement
- Weld and repair guarding and platforms
- Service and repair material handling equipment and trolleys
- To work with contractors on repairs
- To work with contractors on projects
- To design and analyse different repair and project options for their merits
- Promote the companies HSE policies across the department and plant and adhere to all Health and Safety environmental requirements
- Experience in MIG welding
- Experience in TIG welding (desirable)
- Experience in fabrication of multi metal components
The successful candidate should have a minimum of two years experience and apprentice trained preferred.
