We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our dynamic team at a growing, family run engineering company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in programming and operating CNC machinery using Siemens or Fanuc controls and CAM software to program 3 axis milling machines.

Working within a small team with a friendly atmosphere, your duties will include interpreting engineering drawings to manufacture parts for a range of industries, using your skills and knowledge to program and run predominantly CNC machining centers, experience on turning centers would be advantageous. As a small company with 8 years trading, we are looking for somebody to assist us in growing into the next stage, which will offer a number of opportunities for training and development to the right candidate. Duties

Develop and optimise CNC programmes for machining operations, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
Operate CNC machines, including setting up tools and fixtures
Conduct regular maintenance checks on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
Collaborate with engineering teams to interpret CAD designs and create programmes
Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the machining process, applying logical problem-solving skills.

22 days holiday + bank holidays, with the option to buy a further 2 days
