Pertemps are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to join our client's manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience using Alphacam and BobCAD software to create, modify, and optimise CNC programs for a range of precision components.
Key Responsibilities of a CNC Programmer:
- Create, edit, and optimise CNC programs using Alphacam and BobCAD
- Interpret technical drawings and CAD models to produce precision components
- Operate and set CNC machinery
- Work with production staff to improve machining efficiency and reduce downtime
- Maintain accurate documentation of tooling, programs, and setup processes
- Proven CNC programming experience (Alphacam and/or BobCAD essential)
- Strong understanding of machining processes and tooling
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
