Key Stage 1 Teacher - January Start
Location: Telford
Contract: Full-time, Long-term (with potential to become permanent)
Start Date: January 2026

We are seeking a dedicated Key Stage 1 Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Telford. This is a full-time, long-term position starting in January, with full classroom responsibilities including planning, teaching, and marking.

The school prides itself on its inclusive and nurturing environment, where staff work collaboratively to ensure every child reaches their full potential. This is an excellent opportunity for either an experienced teacher or an ECT looking to develop their practice within a supportive team.

Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and creative lessons to KS1 pupils in line with the National Curriculum

Full planning, preparation, assessment and marking responsibilities

Maintain high expectations of learning and behaviour

Work collaboratively with other staff members to support pupil progress

Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Experience teaching within Key Stage 1

Strong classroom management and organisational skills

A positive, nurturing and resilient approach

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
