Prince are delighted to be recruiting for an experienced Quality Manager on behalf of a successful and growing manufacturing organisation. The Quality Manager will lead the strategic and day-to-day activities of the Quality division, championing a quality-first mindset across the organisation. The role will focus on maintaining compliance with quaity standards, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring the highest levels of product quality and customer satisfaction.

As the Quality Manager, you will be getting involved in:

  • Take ownership of the company’s Quality Management System, ensuring it aligns with IATF 16949 and meets all regulatory and customer expectations.
  • Lead internal audits and quality reviews to assess system effectiveness and drive compliance.
  • Manage and develop a team of quality professionals, promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and training to support team growth and performance.
  • Analyse operational processes to identify areas for improvement, applying methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma.
  • Track and report on quality metrics, implementing corrective actions to address any issues.
  • Act as the main liaison for customer quality concerns, resolving issues promptly and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Work closely with suppliers to uphold quality standards, conducting audits and managing onboarding of new vendors and materials.
  • Maintain accurate records of all quality activities and present findings to senior leadership.
  • Monitor changes in industry regulations and ensure the business remains compliant, including communication with relevant authorities when required.

We are looking for someone who has experience in:

  • Previous experience leading and managing a Quality function at a managerial and departmental level including managing a team. 
  • Ideally possess experience in and knowledge of the requirements and expectations of supplying into the automotive sector with a strong knowledge of IATF 16949 as well as strong knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and systems
  • IATF Lead Auditor
  • Strong knowledge of quality management tools and methodologies
  • Previous experience within a Quality Manager / Quality Supervisor / Head of Quality role within a busy manufacturing environment
