Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Fitter for a client in Stafford Park. The ideal candidate will have previous experience building flat pack furniture and be proficient in the use of both hand and power tools. As a Fitter, you will be responsible for assembling components and ensuring that all products meet quality standards. The role will involve heavy lifting. Hours of work are Monday - Friday, 8am-4pm.
Responsibilities
- Assemble flat pack components according to specifications and drawings
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Conduct quality checks on assembled products to ensure compliance with standards
- Maintain a clean and organised work area within the workshop
- Assist in inventory management by tracking materials used during assembly
Skills
- Experience building flat pack furniture
- Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools
- Previous experience in assembly or manufacturing roles is advantageous
- Familiarity with workshop operations and safety protocols
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Manual handling.
