Role: SHEQ Manager

Location: Telford

Hours: 8:30am - 5pm

Pay: 50,000 - 55,000

Role Responsibilities:

  • Lead and promote SHEQ excellence by ensuring compliance with ISO 45001, 14001, and 50001 standards, driving a zero-harm culture, and maintaining safe systems of work through training, audits, and incident reporting.

  • Drive continuous improvement (CI) through PDCA, lean manufacturing, and structured problem-solving to achieve operational excellence and embed best practices.

  • Ensure product quality and customer satisfaction by maintaining rigorous testing, process audits, equipment calibration, and timely resolution of customer concerns.

  • Monitor and enhance performance via SHEQ KPIs, risk assessments, and feedback systems to identify trends, implement improvements, and foster engagement across teams and suppliers.

  • Provide visible leadership and collaboration with HR and Group functions, offering technical and legal guidance on SHEQ matters and supporting a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous learning.

Essential Experience:

  • Proven experience (5+ years) driving SHEQ performance and continuous improvement within fast-paced manufacturing environments using lean, Six Sigma, PDCA, and operational excellence tools.

  • Strong practical knowledge of SHEQ systems, safe working practices, workplace organisation, project management, and visual management techniques.

  • Excellent communicator with the ability to engage effectively across all levels - internally and externally - and proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
