Contract role for Quality Technician / Quality Engineer to support supply chain, supplier quality and manufacturing processes with a focus on quality operations. You’ll be supporting a busy and organised quality department to ensure continued success in compliance and production output. The role is based at an established manufacturing site in a modern and developing factory. 6 Month Contract - likely to extend or go perm at end of this period

Working Days Mon – Fri - 37.5 hours per week

What You Will Do:

  • Support the development and implementation of quality standards across multiple countries within the supply chain.
  • Conduct audits on manufacturing processes and suppliers to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Drive lessons learned and best practices within logistics, supplier performance, and manufacturing operations.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to verify and validate engineering, manufacturing, and quality requirements.
  • Monitor quality control activities and lead initiatives to enhance supplier performance and productivity.
  • Organise and participate in continuous improvement programmes with suppliers to ensure specifications are met and exceeded.

What You Will Bring:

  • Proven experience in quality operations, supplier quality engineering or a related field.
  • Strong auditing skills with the ability to assess and improve manufacturing processes.
  • Proven experience in manufacturing to include automotive, moulding, press work, assembly, fabrication or anything similar 
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with internal teams and external suppliers.
  • A proactive mindset with a focus on problem-solving and continuous improvement.
  • Familiarity with international standards and best practices in quality and manufacturing excellence.

Current or previous roles held will include quality engineer, supplier quality engineer, SQE or quality auditor
