Job Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Science Teacher to join our secondary school team. This role involves teaching Key Stage 3 and 4 students starting in January 2025. If you have a love for Science and a desire to inspire students, we'd love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
Teach Science to Key Stage 3 and 4 students, covering the national curriculum.
Plan and deliver engaging lessons that make Science interesting and accessible to all students.
Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve.
Encourage a positive and respectful classroom environment where students feel confident to ask questions and participate.
Work alongside other Science teachers to improve the curriculum and share teaching resources and ideas.
Help students develop their scientific thinking, problem-solving, and practical skills.
Qualifications & Skills:
A degree in Science or a related subject (or equivalent).
QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent teaching qualification (preferred, but not essential).
Experience teaching Science at Key Stage 3 and 4 level.
Strong communication and classroom management skills.
A genuine passion for Science and helping students succeed.
