Cover Supervisor

Location: Tenterden, Kent
Position: Teacher, HLTA, TA
Start Date: Immediate
Salary: 100-130 - per day
Contract Type: Full-time, Part-time, Temp

The Role:

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for creating an engaging and stimulating classroom environment. You will work closely with your colleagues to deliver a broad and balanced curriculum that meets the needs of all learners. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, degree educated and experience within the education sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and cover high-quality lessons that meet the needs of all learners
Create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment
Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback to pupils
Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching practices
Support the pastoral development of students, promoting positive behaviour and well-being
Engage with parents and carers to ensure strong home-school partnerships

The Ideal Candidate:

A Degree
Preferably experience within teaching
A passion for working with young children and helping them to achieve their best
Strong classroom management skills
The ability to inspire and motivate students
A creative and adaptable approach to teaching
Sound understanding of the current Code of Practice for SEND and principles of inclusion
Enthusiastic with a commitment to the school's Christian vision and values
