Cover Supervisor

Location: Tenterden, Kent

Salary: 100-130 - per day

The Role:

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for creating an engaging and stimulating classroom environment. You will work closely with your colleagues to deliver a broad and balanced curriculum that meets the needs of all learners. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, degree educated and experience within the education sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and cover high-quality lessons that meet the needs of all learners
  • Create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback to pupils
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching practices
  • Support the pastoral development of students, promoting positive behaviour and well-being
  • Engage with parents and carers to ensure strong home-school partnerships

The Ideal Candidate:

  • A Degree
  • Preferably experience within teaching
  • A passion for working with young children and helping them to achieve their best
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • The ability to inspire and motivate students
  • A creative and adaptable approach to teaching
  • Sound understanding of the current Code of Practice for SEND and principles of inclusion
  • Enthusiastic with a commitment to the school's Christian vision and values
