Our cleint are a Tewkesbury based precision engineering company who produce high quality component for various industries including aerospace.

The Job

We are assisting with their search for an experienced Quality Inspector to join their busy and successful team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting final and first article inspections of CNC-milled prismatic components, CNC-turned machined parts, and fully assembled products, ensuring compliance with high aerospace quality standards.
  • Identifying and rectifying errors in workshop documentation, including works order cards.
  • Reading and interpreting 2D drawings and model definitions with precision.
  • Utilizing CMM, along with various electronic and hand-held measuring instruments, for accurate assessments.
  • Supporting and ensuring the effective completion of root cause corrective actions in a timely manner.
  • Carrying out quality reviews and internal QMS audits to maintain high standards.
  • Managing and overseeing the internal and external calibration system.

Ideal Candidate:
The successful candidate will have prior experience in a similar engineering workshop environment within the aerospace industry. A keen eye for detail is essential, along with the ability to maintain exceptional standards of process control across all aspects of quality.

Salary

16 to 17.50 per hour depending on experience +benefits
