The Role - Quality Inspector

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Quality Inspector to join a busy and thriving aerospace manufacturing business in Tewkesbury.

You will be responsible for inspecting parts and assemblies and working with various stakeholders to take appropriate action on non-conformities identified during inspection.

You’ll be working in a brand new, expanding facility under the guidance of a fantastic team.

 

Responsibilities - Quality Inspector

  • Inspect parts and assemblies, including subcontracted components, using appropriate inspection equipment
  • Conduct final inspections of assemblies, including visual checks and documentation review
  • Issue Authorized Release Certificates following successful inspection
  • Review supplier FAIRs and support completion of FAIRs for finished assemblies
  • Raise non-conformance reports and coordinate disposition with relevant stakeholders
  • Act as a delegated Quality representative in customer interactions

Background - Quality Inspector

  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings
  • Experience with inspection techniques and various measuring instruments and gauges.
  • Knowledge/experience in inspecting parts from speciality processes
  • Experience in inspecting parts using CMM machines (Advantageous)
  • Knowledge of QMS system and Microsoft applications
