Senior Quality Inspector

Location: Thame, Oxfordshire

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out detailed inspections of manufactured components and assemblies

  • Perform Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) in line with company and industry standards

  • Review engineering drawings, specifications, and quality documentation

  • Identify non-conformances and support root cause analysis and corrective actions

  • Work closely with production, engineering, and quality teams to drive continuous improvement

  • Maintain accurate inspection and test records

  • Support audits and compliance activities as required

Essential Requirements
  • Level 2 NDT qualification (essential)

  • Proven experience in a quality inspection role within a manufacturing environment

  • Strong understanding of engineering drawings and inspection techniques

  • Experience using a range of inspection tools and measuring equipment

  • High attention to detail with a proactive approach to problem-solving

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable
  • Experience in a senior or lead quality role

  • Knowledge of ISO quality standards

  • Background in precision or regulated manufacturing
