Job Title: Control Tower Supervisor (Nights)
Location: Haddenham
Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent
Working Hours: 17:00 to 05:00, Monday to Friday (with occasional Saturday overtime)
Are you ready to take the wheel in the fast-paced world of logistics and transportation? Our client, a leader in the industry, is on the lookout for a dynamic and enthusiastic Control Tower Supervisor to join their team.
What You'll Do:
As the Control Tower Supervisor, you will be the backbone of our night-time transport operations, ensuring smooth and efficient deliveries to retail stores across the UK. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing the day-to-day transport operations with a focus on night-time deliveries.
- Leading and supporting the Driving Team to meet planning expectations and uphold high standards.
- Identifying and addressing any performance issues using management tools and clear communication.
- Ensuring compliance with driver hours, vehicle defects, and local regulations.
- Collaborating with the Management Team and other leaders to maintain operational excellence.
- Driving continuous improvement by analysing data trends and implementing process enhancements.
What We are Looking For:
The ideal candidate will be equipped with:
- Strong administrative skills and a knack for organisation.
- Excellent verbal communication skills, especially when interacting with drivers.
- A proactive mindset focused on quality and performance improvement.
- The ability to work independently and contribute effectively to the team.
This role is on a temporary basis starting asap, with a view to become permanent.
