A schoolis seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join a thriving Science Department in a Secondary School near Thame. Duties as a Science Teacher:

  • Teach general science (biology, chemistry, and physics) to students at KS3 and KS4.

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that promote progress and curiosity.

  • Assess student work and use data to inform teaching and support achievement.

  • Contribute to a positive learning environment that promotes high expectations and achievement.

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to share resources, ideas, and best practices.

  • Support science-related enrichment activities, trips, or clubs where appropriate.

Ideal Science Teacher:

  • Holds QTS/QTLS or an equivalent qualification and has a strong grasp of the secondary science curriculum.

  • Demonstrates excellent subject knowledge acrossKS3 and 4

  • Has a commitment to high standards of teaching, learning, and behaviour.

  • Has recent mainstream experience as a Science Teacher in a Secondary School

  • Values inclusion and works effectively with students of all abilities and backgrounds.
