We are seeking a dedicated Production Operator to join our team in Thatcham. This role involves producing high-quality packaging and requires someone with prior production or manufacturing experience. The position offers a competitive salary and a structured rotating shift pattern, ideal for someone who can reliably commute to Thatcham and is comfortable with flexible working hours.

Day-to-day of the role:

Operate machinery and equipment to produce high-quality packaging.
Monitor the production process and carry out basic testing and quality checks.
Ensure that machines are set up properly and material is available for production.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety and quality regulations.
Troubleshoot basic machine issues and report any malfunctions to maintenance staff.
Work collaboratively with other team members to meet production targets.
Participate in training and development sessions to improve skills and knowledge.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
Comfortable with a rotating shift pattern and able to work the specified hours.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to follow instructions and work independently as well as part of a team.
Good communication skills and the ability to report issues effectively.
Physically fit to handle manual aspects of the job including lifting and standing for long periods.

Shift Pattern:

Week 1: 6am – 2pm (Mon – Thurs)
Week 2: 2pm – 10pm (Mon – Thurs)
Week 3: 10pm – 6am (Mon – Thurs)
Fridays rotate between:
- 6am – 11:30am
- 11:30am – 5pm
- 5pm – 10:30pm
