We are seeking a dedicated Production Operator to join our team in Thatcham. This role involves producing high-quality packaging and requires someone with prior production or manufacturing experience. The position offers a competitive salary and a structured rotating shift pattern, ideal for someone who can reliably commute to Thatcham and is comfortable with flexible working hours.
Day-to-day of the role:- Operate machinery and equipment to produce high-quality packaging.
- Monitor the production process and carry out basic testing and quality checks.
- Ensure that machines are set up properly and material is available for production.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety and quality regulations.
- Troubleshoot basic machine issues and report any malfunctions to maintenance staff.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to meet production targets.
- Participate in training and development sessions to improve skills and knowledge.
- Experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
- Comfortable with a rotating shift pattern and able to work the specified hours.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and the ability to report issues effectively.
- Physically fit to handle manual aspects of the job including lifting and standing for long periods.

- Fridays rotate between:
- 6am β 11:30am
- 11:30am β 5pm
- 5pm β 10:30pm
