We're partnering with a respected engineering and environmental consultancy seeking an experienced Senior Acoustic Consultant to join their expanding team in Thetford. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled acoustics professional to take on a key leadership role, managing high-profile environmental and building acoustics projects across the UK while helping to drive the continued growth of the team.

In this position, you'll take ownership of complex acoustic projects from inception to completion, provide technical guidance to colleagues, and act as a trusted advisor to clients and stakeholders. This is an ideal role for someone looking to combine technical expertise with strategic influence and professional development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage environmental and building acoustics projects from concept through to delivery

  • Maintain and strengthen client relationships, ensuring exceptional technical standards

  • Conduct site surveys, acoustic modelling, assessments, and detailed reporting

  • Mentor and develop junior consultants

  • Support business development and help expand the acoustics service offering



About You

  • Degree in Acoustics, Physics, or a related discipline

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in environmental or building acoustics consultancy

  • Excellent communication and project management skills

  • IOA membership (MIOA or higher) preferred

  • Full UK driving licence required
