MEP Digital Lead Engineer

Weare currently working with a well respected Main Contractor who are looking for an experienced MEP Digial Lead Engineer.

You will be expected to plan, coordinate and manage all activities related to Digital Engineering co-ordination and pre-fabricationprocess on a project or projects and to ensure that scope, price, and programme for these activities isachieved.

• Be the main project-level Digital Engineeringrepresentative to both external and internal customers,managing and coordinating all project level DigitalEngineering activities.
• Manage the Scope, Cost and Programme of the DigitalEngineering, Co-ordination, and Prefabrication worksagainst the original Digital Engineering proposal.
• To work closely with the Project Team and RegionalTechnical teams to provide advice on co-ordination anddesign for manufacture during all projects stages.
• Develop the co-ordination / drawing programme andschedules to incorporate resource levels and key issuedates into an integrated programme alongside theproject manager.
• Production of Project Digital Performance Reports andmonitors Digital Team performance for the businessunit area for which they are responsible
• Check all Digital output for compliance with the BIMscope agreed, to ensure a quality, cost effective,efficient, clash free installation of services on site.
• Manage co-ordination changes to Scope Price andProgramme by using the agreed process to recordchanges requests to enable the Project Surveyor tomanage the variation account.

Knowledge

• Very good understanding of Building Information Modelling and Digital Engineering.
• Very good understanding of various Information Management Standards e.g. ISO 19650
• Very good understanding of Digital Engineering Technology
• Very good understanding of construction management and engineering processes
• Very good understanding of forms of procurement, contractual arrangements, and frameworks

Pay - Circa 60,000 - 70,000 + Full Benefits
