Location: Thetford
Salary: 50,000+ plus benefits

We are working with a well-established engineering and environmental consultancy that is looking for a seasoned Senior Acoustic Consultant to join their growing team in Thetford. This role offers an excellent chance for an experienced acoustics specialist to step into a senior position, overseeing major environmental and building acoustics projects nationwide while contributing to the continued development of the team.

In this role, you will be responsible for leading complex acoustics assignments from start to finish, offering technical support to colleagues, and serving as a trusted advisor to clients and stakeholders. It's a great fit for someone who wants to blend hands-on technical work with strategic input and ongoing career progression.

Main Duties

  • Lead and deliver environmental and building acoustics projects from initial concept to final completion

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high technical standards

  • Carry out site visits, acoustic modelling, assessments, and produce detailed reports

  • Guide and support junior team members

  • Assist with business development and help grow the acoustics service offering



About You

  • Degree in Acoustics, Physics, or a related subject

  • At least 5 years' experience within environmental or building acoustics consultancy

  • Strong communication and project management abilities

  • IOA membership (MIOA or above) preferred

  • Full UK driving licence
