Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Social Care to provide strategic and operational leadership across the East and South Place. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex social care services, with demonstrable experience in performance management, budget oversight, and service improvement.
You will bring strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop teams, drive high-quality outcomes, and ensure compliance with statutory responsibilities and local policies. A deep understanding of both adult social care frameworks, safeguarding legislation, and partnership working across health and social care systems is essential.
The role requires resilience, sound professional judgement, and the ability to work collaboratively with senior leaders and internal and external stakeholders to deliver effective, person-centred services within available resources.
