Technical Assistance Engineer

  • Provide engineering support to Commercial, NPI, Quality teams, and customers, including feasibility reviews and technical consultations.
  • Conduct technical reviews at RFQ stage, assess customer drawings/CAD models, and identify critical features or concerns.
  • Act as a technical liaison, addressing customer queries and building strong engineering relationships.
  • Evaluate supplier capabilities, review offers, and ensure accurate feasibility documentation and APQP compliance.
  • Lead technical aspects of New Product Introduction, support PPAP submissions, and expedite PSW approvals.
  • Recommend cost-effective part solutions, support reverse engineering, and contribute to VA/VE initiatives.
  • Attend site visits with territory managers to support technical discussions and oversee project progress.
  • Collaborate with Quality team on customer concerns, 8D reports, and supplier rejections.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, use metrology tools, and operate CAD software (Autodesk Inventor).
  • Maintain clear communication, adapt to evolving technologies, and pursue ongoing training
