Are you a passionate and qualified Nursery Practitioner looking to make a real difference in early years education? Prospero Teaching is working closely with a welcoming and well-established day nursery in Tiverton to recruit a dedicated Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join their friendly team.

About the Role:

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a key role in providing a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for children aged 0-5 years. You'll be part of a supportive team that values creativity, care, and child-led learning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework
  • Support children's development across all areas - physical, emotional, social, and educational
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to safeguarding and health & safety policies
  • Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Observe and record children's progress, contributing to learning journals
Requirements:
  • Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education (e.g., CACHE, NVQ, or equivalent)
  • Previous experience in a nursery or early years setting
  • A genuine passion for working with young children
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
