We are working with our new client to recruit Packers for their site in Staplehurst, Kent.
Responsible for machine set up / line running and change over adjustments to achieve pre-determined line speeds. Where opportunities are identified to improve machinery, throughput communicate and engage with production team in delivering the improvement, increase overall machine efficiency whilst maintaining quality of both product & packaging to customer specification.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Operate to both internal / external food safety / H&S standards.

Complete pre start check / sign backs into operation and any other
documentation required to be completed in the MM role.

Ensure all daily machine safety checks are completed in line with the trained
SOP’s.

Ensure product change overs are performed with minimal down time in a safe
and compliant manner.

Communicate with Line Leaders in a clear and appropriate manner.

Ensure that machines are setup intime for job runs ensuring prompt
changeovers whilst keeping downtime to a minimum.

Report directly to the LineLeader/Engineer any machine fault sand
through put issues that are having a negative impact on safety or line
efficiency and log on i auditor.

Allmachine settings comply with the guidelines set by technical/
engineering department for each different product SKU.

Ensure machine reliability is maintained in line with pre-determined PPM/
business targets.
GENERAL:

Comply with statutory Health & Safety obligations and Cottage Farms Health & Safety Policy.

To optimise the use of company resources and comply with the company policy and procedures.

The role is 4 on and 2 off. 6.30am-3/4pm
This is a temp to perm role for the right candidate.
OWN TRANSPORT IS NEEDED due to the location
