This contemporary pub has been going from strength to strength and receiving numerous awards and accolades for their fine cuisine. As a result, they are now looking for a talented Senior Sous Chef to assist with the day to day running of the kitchen.

Along with a fabulous looking restaurant there is also a modern, well-equipped kitchen. With a talented brigade of 5-6 chefs, they prepare absolutely everything in house, utilising all the wonderful Kent produce to create a modern British menu.

Closed Sunday evening, Monday & Tuesday and half day off in the week.

There are two celebrity chefs involved in the business, and they work closely with the team to ensure the continued success. There is also a very talented Head Chef so the successful candidate will have every opportunity to develop their skills further.

The ideal Senior Sous Chef will have previous experience within a first class, fresh food kitchen and have a genuine love of cooking. Alongside this excellent management and training skills to educate, motivate and retain your dedicated team will be essential.

Duties include:

Assisting with menu creation

Costing

Controlling stock

Ordering and dealing with suppliers

Training and mentoring the junior members of the team

Ensuring quality and consistency

Full responsibility for the kitchen in the Head Chefs absence

This is a live out position and your own transport will be essential, due to the rural location of the establishment.
