The firm prides itself on supporting professional development and delivering excellent client care.Position Overview:We are seeking a dedicated Private Client Solicitor to join a busy department in Tonbridge. The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload independently, covering all aspects of private client law including estate planning, wills, trusts, probate, and related tax matters.Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing your own caseload of private client matters with minimal supervision.
  • Providing specialist advice on estate and care fee planning, wills, lasting powers of attorney, trusts, probate, and administration of estates.
  • Advising clients on inheritance tax planning, investments, charities, and deputyship matters.
  • Assisting clients in Court of Protection cases and managing trust administration.
  • Ensuring efficient and accurate case handling and compliance with deadlines.
Requirements:
  • Solid and consistent experience in private client law. (3+ Years PQE)
  • Proficiency in estate planning, wills, probate, tax issues, and trust administration.
  • STEP qualification preferred, or willingness to undertake supported training.
  • Excellent organisational skills, initiative, and ability to prioritise effectively.
  • Professional presentation and strong communication skills with an excellent client manner.
