- Conduct assessments and develop care plans for children and families.
- Implement and review child protection plans and care proceedings.
- Work collaboratively with partner agencies to ensure coordinated support.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records.
- Participate in supervision and professional development activities.
- A recognised social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, CSS, or equivalent).
- Registration with Social Care Wales.
- Experience in statutory social work with children and families.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Children Act 1989 and the Social Services and Well-being (Wales) Act 2014.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Experience of using the Wales Safeguarding Procedures.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and manage a caseload.
- Experience of working with families in a variety of settings.
