Sales Account Manager – Based Northamptonshire
Basic Salary £28,000 rising to £35,000 uncapped OTE, plus benefits
Candidates must be able to demonstrate previous experience of working in a professional outbound B2B sales role and must live within a commutable distance of Northampton.
My client is seeking ambitious sales professional who are seeking to build their career within the B2B financial sector, additional training and personal development.
As a Sales Account Manager you will actively develop new and existing relationships with clients to build your own portfolio of clients.
As a Sales Account Manager your role will be to offer clients financial solutions such as asset finance, commercial loans, invoice finance etc. You will also have sales support and access to diverse funders to help you analyse financial needs and key documents.
As a Sales Account Manager, you will be contacting potential clients through outbound calls, positioning financial solutions in a consultative manner and passing qualified leads to the sales team.
This role requires a candidate who has natural flair to build a good telephone rapport, alongside the ability to drive the sales processes to completion and achieve key KPI targets in a highly competitive and lucrative environment.
Candidate Skills & Requirements
- Have a minimum of 2 years Outbound Sales experience
- Be a highly motivated and driven individual with a passion for sales.
- Any experience of working in a Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) related industry would be advantageous but not essential.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely whilst building rapport and trust.
- Resilient with the capability to work under pressure in a fast-paced meritocratic environment.
- Strong commercial acumen, with an interest in business
- Dynamic individuals with an entrepreneurial, self-starter approach
- Adhere to the principles of treating customers fairly in all interactions.
- Remain vigilant against fraud and money laundering, promptly reporting any concerns.
Duties
- You will be responsible for making outbound sales activity to establish rapport and interest with potential new clients, building a pipeline and securing new business opportunities.
- With a customer-centric approach, qualify client interest through a consultative sales process to understand their commercial standing.
- Record all sales activity on the CRM.
- Knowledge of CRM Salesforce advantageous but not essential
- Build and maintain a pipeline of live opportunities.
- Prepare proposals and compile credit applications.
