With a focus on the mid-corporate commercial space, this role offers autonomy, high-quality leads, and the chance to make a real impact across key sectors. The Role:This is a new business development role where the successful candidate will:
  • Secure and grow a portfolio of mid-sized commercial clients (typically £10K+ premium cases).
  • Focus on sectors such as Motor Trade, Fleet, Construction, Property Owners, Manufacturing, and Retail.
  • Deliver tailored solutions and cross-sell wider propositions including financial services, risk management, and consultancy.
  • Represent the agency at industry events, network locally, and drive brand visibility.
  • Maintain strong compliance standards and a customer-first ethos.
The Ideal Candidate
  • Proven experience in commercial insurance sales, with a strong track record of new business success.
  • Skilled in handling larger premium clients and complex commercial cases.
  • Self-motivated, organised and professional with strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • A commercial mindset with the ability to work independently.
  • Ideally has knowledge of key industry sectors and/or experience within an agency.
  • Cert CII qualified or working towards it is a bonus.
