A contemporary fitted furniture company is seeking a Designer / Sales Advisor to join their new showroom in Tunbridge Wells. The business has gained an excellent reputation for the design and manufacturing of their high end fitted / custom furniture collections and will soon be bringing their services to clients in Tunbridge Wells and the wider Kent area. The company is well established with showrooms across London and the Home Counties.
This role will be based at the showroom and will involve meeting with clients to explore their design requirements. The showroom has a range of items on display and the Designer / Sales Advisor will work with clients to advise on furniture styles, colour, design features and measurements. The Designer will be able to guide clients and sell them furniture designs that suit their lifestyle and interior design requirements through working with them to design the perfect custom furniture solution.
Candidates will preferably need to have some experience of advising and selling an interiors product. Full training will be provided on an ongoing basis. This makes an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong interest in interior design and furniture.
The role is commission based and will add approximately £7000 on top of the basic salary. Basic salary on offer of up to £30,000 (negotiable based on experience). The role will require working on Saturdays (but not Sundays) and then a day off in the week, often a Monday. (5 day working week). This is an exciting time to come on board as the company open their new Tunbridge Wells showroom. Hours 9.30am - 5.30pm.
