Role Overview:The HR Advisor will deliver effective, business-aligned HR support across the employee lifecycle, primarily for Apprenticeships, Trainees, Paralegals, Legal Support, and Business Services staff. This role plays a central part in embedding people initiatives, supporting graduate and apprenticeship recruitment, and driving continuous HR improvements.Key Responsibilities:
  • End-to-end Recruitment for Trainee Solicitors, Legal Support, Business Services, and Apprenticeships
  • Organise and attend careers fairs, while managing graduate and A-level work experience programmes
  • Coordinate onboarding, wellbeing, performance management, and leaver processes
  • Deliver compliant and people-first support across HR policies, employee relations, and performance management
  • Support learning and development aligned with progression pathways
  • Collaborate on cross-functional HR projects and firm-wide initiatives
  • Promote the employer brand through digital platforms, including website and social media
What They're Looking For
  • Demonstrable HR experience in a professional services environment (legal or financial preferred)
  • Proven experience of HR Partnerships
  • CIPD Level 5 (minimum), working towards Level 7, or equivalent degree
  • Strong understanding of employment law, HR best practices, and the full employee lifecycle
  • Personable, confident communicator with strong business partnering capabilities
  • Excellent organisational, numerical, and project management skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and HR systems (OpenHR desirable)
  • A reliable team player with discretion, empathy, and a calm, professional approach
