Editor

Experienced B2B Editor required for an established and successful company of more than 25 years, producing market leading titles and associated web related products.

The Editor will report to the Publisher and your main roles will include:

The Editor will have responsibility for the editorial quality and content of the publication, website and social media

  • Meet pre-determined copy deadlines and ensuring that all editorial material is produced to a high standard and that the required information is supplied to the printer at the agreed time.
  • Assisting in the continuing development of the magazine and the associated website to serve the business needs of the readership they influence.
  • Writing, sub-editing and commissioning articles.
  • Liaising with contributors and working to a contributor budget.
  • Attending and reporting on events, exhibitions, press launches and seminars when relevant and appropriate.
  • Conducting interviews face to face and by telephone.
  • Work closely with the publishing team
