As a Lift Service/Callout Engineer, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and emergency response for a portfolio of lift equipment. You'll work independently across various sites, delivering high-quality service in accordance with British & European Standards.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Planned and reactive maintenance of lift equipment

  • Responding to emergency breakdowns and carrying out repairs

  • Conducting asset verification and site surveys

  • Installing replacement and additional components

  • Participating in the on-call rota (optional)

  • Mentoring apprentices or assistants where required

  • Maintaining professional conduct and strong client communication

We’re looking for a skilled professional who thrives under pressure and takes pride in delivering reliable, safe service.

Essential:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering

  • Minimum 2 years of lift industry experience

  • Strong understanding of current British Standards

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively

Desirable:

  • Experience in social housing environments

  • Asbestos awareness certification
