Key Responsibilities
- Leading all core finance functions including budgeting, forecasting and reporting
- Managing project costs, reviewing performance data, and ensuring profitability is always in focus
- Overseeing day-to-day operations across accounts payable and receivable, payroll and cash flow
- Working closely with operational teams to ensure costs are captured accurately and on time
- Producing clear, actionable monthly management accounts for senior leadership
- Supporting year-end processes and managing relationships with external auditors
- Identifying opportunities to improve systems, processes and reporting tools
- Playing a key role in evolving the finance function as the business grows
- A solid track record in a hands-on finance role where you’ve managed the full range of finance responsibilities
- Experience working closely with operational teams and influencing commercial decisions
- Comfortable with project or cost-based accounting
- AAT qualified or working towards ACCA, CIMA, or similar (or qualified by experience)
- Excellent Excel skills and confidence with accounting software
