Job Title: School Administrator - SEND School
Location: Hillingdon, West London
Hours: Full-time, Term-Time

About the School:
We are a supportive and inclusive SEND school in Hillingdon, dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children with a range of additional needs. We are looking for a reliable and professional School Administrator to join our team and support the smooth running of the school.

The Role:
As a School Administrator, you will be the first point of contact for parents, staff, and visitors. You will provide vital administrative support to the leadership team, ensuring the school runs efficiently. This role is varied and rewarding, offering the chance to make a real difference to our school community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing school communications, including phone calls, emails, and letters

  • Supporting the leadership team with daily administrative tasks

  • Maintaining student records, attendance, and data in line with GDPR

  • Assisting with school policies, reports, and document preparation

  • Welcoming visitors and providing a friendly, professional first impression

  • Supporting staff and pupils with day-to-day administrative needs

Person Specification:

  • Previous experience in an administrative role, ideally within an education or SEND setting

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills

  • Strong communication skills with a professional, approachable manner

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and data management systems

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Understanding of SEND needs and a compassionate approach to working with children and families
