Support Learning Excellence as an Chemistry Teacher in Hillingdon

GSL Education is currently seeking a number of dedicated and skilled Chemistry Teachers to join our client schools in Hillingdon. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the learning and development of students.

 

As a Chemistry Teacher, your responsibilities will include:

  • Teaching & Learning: Deliver engaging and effective Chemistry lessons across KS3–KS5, adapting to the needs of all learners.
  • Curriculum Planning: Create and implement schemes of work aligned with the national curriculum.
  • Assessment & Progress: Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing feedback and support for continued achievement.
  • Classroom Management: Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues and parents to support students’ academic and personal development..

Qualifications and Attributes:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognized teaching qualification
  • Specialism in Chemistry or related Science subject
  • Strong classroom presence with a passion for engaging students in scientific learning
  • Experience teaching across KS3–KS5 (A-level Chemistry desirable)

 

You must be in possession of an enhanced child only DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education.
