IT Support Administrator

The Information Technology Support Administrator is responsible day to day maintenance of Windows desktop and laptop machines, user support, CAT5 cabling, day to day user support and general infrastructure maintenance. This will require the use of Jira Service Desk for ticket management and prioritisation.

Hybrid working – 3 days in office

Location – Uxbridge

You will support hardware and software across the business using the Jira service desk application. Providing these services in an effective and efficient manner will ensure maximum access to and implementation of technology services and resources for all users within the environment.

Main Responsibilities

  • User desktop support for all employees
  • PC/Laptop hardware configuration and troubleshooting
  • Windows Active Directory user management
  • Printer and copier configuration/maintenance
  • Installation of software and associated peripheral device drivers
  • Microsoft Windows 10 administration
  • Telephony/Softphone system support for contact centre users
  • O365 Administration (Includes Azure VDI user setup)
  • Understanding of TCP/IP connectivity
  • Anti-virus configurations and troubleshooting (Sophos)
  • A strong focus on Security
  • General maintenance of user requirements (hardware/software)
  • Remote assistance to all remote users via telephone and remote assistance software
  • You will have strong English verbal and written communication skills
