Mechanical Inspector Responsibilities

Carry out dimensional and visual inspections on aerospace components
Use hand measuring tools including micrometres, verniers, and height gauges
Read and interpret technical engineering drawings and GD&T symbols
Log inspection results and track parts using SAP
Support 5S initiatives and continuous improvement
Maintain inspection equipment and complete calibration checks
Handle materials in line with internal quality and safety standards

What We’re Looking For

Proven mechanical inspection experience within aerospace, defence or similar precision industries
Confident using handheld inspection tools to tight tolerances
Familiarity with GD&T and ability to interpret complex drawings
PC literate, ideally with experience using SAP or similar MRP systems
Experience with CMM inspection or AS9102 FAIR documentation is a bonus
A methodical team player who takes ownership and works to high standards
