Pressure Test TechnicianSalary: £15–£16 per hourLocation: Uxbridge, MiddlesexHours: Mon–Thurs 08:00–17:00 / Fri 08:00–Midday (37 hours per week)Start Date: ASAPType: PermanentThis is a fantastic opportunity to join a globally recognised aerospace manufacturer in Uxbridge, supporting the testing of safety-critical components to the highest pressure and quality standards.As a Pressure Test Technician, you’ll play a hands-on role in verifying the integrity and performance of aerospace assemblies, including testing components to destruction at pressures of up to 10,000 PSI.Benefits:

Pressure Test Technician Responsibilities:

Conducting high-pressure tests on hoses and mechanical assemblies (up to 10,000 PSI)
Performing destructive tests to assess product durability and gather improvement data
Setting up test rigs using engineering drawings and technical specifications
Inspecting parts to stringent aerospace standards and issuing certificates
Accurately documenting test results and maintaining detailed quality records
Supporting process improvements and identifying areas for efficiency gains

Requirements:

Hands-on pressure testing experience (training provided for high-pressure testing if needed)
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
Comfortable with mechanical assembly, including riveting, bonding, and gluing
Skilled in using hand tools and measuring equipment
Previous experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment
