This is a very unique role providing external advice and consultation to local authorities, social housing providers and developers.

You must have exposure to the management and coordination of design specifications , so this may well suit a Technical / Design Manager or even an Architect/ Engineer.

The organisation is a not-for-profit provider of pre-construction, pre-design services for Housing Authorities and Local Authorities

They work for key stakeholders as a consultant for a consultancy fee and to ensure good outcomes for the communities they support through the developer.

Experience is required in managing design elements of housing projects, building regulations. Section agreements and associated legislation.

Role will report to the Technical Group Manager and provide design procurement advice to the client. Understanding of specifications. value-engineering, pricing and procurement options.

Evaluation of build methods, traditional versus Modular, which may require the need to visit factories and ensure quality assurance.
