Mechanical AssemblerSalary: £32,500 per annum (£16.90 per hour)Location: 10-minute drive from Uxbridge, MiddlesexHours: Mon–Thurs 08:00–17:00 / Fri 08:00–Midday (37 hours per week)Start Date: ASAPType: PermanentThis is an exciting opportunity to join a highly regarded engineering manufacturer near Uxbridge, assembling high-quality mechanical systems for a range of precision-engineered applications.As a key member of the assembly team, you’ll be working from detailed technical drawings to build complex mechanical sub-assemblies, using a range of high-precision tools and components.Mechanical Assembler Benefits:

Mechanical Assembler Responsibilities:

Assembling complex mechanical sub-assemblies using M3+ bolts and precision components
Reading and interpreting detailed engineering drawings
Using a range of hand tools: ratchets, sockets, torque wrenches, hex keys, screwdrivers, pliers, etc.
Conducting self-inspections to maintain top-quality standards
Logging work and tracking progress through MRP/ERP systems (SAP preferred)

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years’ experience in mechanical assembly within a manufacturing or engineering environment
Comfortable using hand tools for precise mechanical work
Excellent understanding of engineering drawings and build procedures
Basic computer literacy and familiarity with MRP/ERP software (SAP ideal)
