We are urgently seeking a reliable and experienced Switchboard Operator to join our team in Harefield. This is a key role supporting a busy healthcare environment, ideal for someone with previous NHS experience and strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate the switchboard system to manage and direct incoming calls efficiently.
Provide courteous and professional service to patients, staff, and external callers.
Route calls to the appropriate departments or individuals.
Handle urgent or emergency calls with discretion and speed.
Maintain accurate records of messages and call logs.

Requirements:

Previous experience in a switchboard or receptionist role is essential.
NHS experience is preferred.
Knowledge of Mitel phone systems is highly desirable.

Ability to work flexibly across day, night, evening, and afternoon shifts.
