Passionate English Teacher Wanted in Hillingdon! Growing Academy

Our well-regarded Independent school in Hillingdon is seeking a Passionate English Teacher to join our growing and dynamic English department. We are looking for a teacher who can inspire a love of reading and writing in students across Key Stages 3 and 4.

Location: Hillingdon Role: English Teacher (Full-Time, Permanent) Salary: Inner London Payscale

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and creative English lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Develop students' literacy skills and their appreciation of literature.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement the English curriculum.
• Assess and monitor student progress and provide effective feedback.
• Contribute to the wider life of the school.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in English.
• Degree in English or a related field.
• Experience teaching English at Key Stages 3 and 4.
• A passion for English language and literature and the ability to inspire students.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• A commitment to student progress and achievement in English.
