Our well-regarded Independent school in Hillingdon is seeking a Dedicated Science Teacher to inspire and challenge students across Key Stages 3 and 4. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to teach across all three science disciplines within a supportive and well-resourced department.

Location: Hillingdon Role: Science Teacher (Full-Time, Permanent) Salary: Inner London Payscale

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and challenging Science lessons covering Biology, Chemistry, and Physics across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Encourage students to develop their scientific inquiry skills and a deep understanding of scientific concepts.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practices and enhance the Science curriculum.
• Assess and monitor student progress in Science, providing constructive feedback.
• Contribute to the wider life of the school through extracurricular science activities.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Science or one of the core disciplines.
• Demonstrated experience teaching Science at Key Stages 3 and 4.
• A strong and comprehensive knowledge of scientific concepts and processes.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of making science accessible and engaging for students of all abilities.
• A commitment to fostering a love of science and promoting scientific literacy.
