In This Role You Will:

Teach engaging and practical DT lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4

Guide students in using a variety of tools, materials, and digital software

Encourage creativity, critical thinking, and design innovation in the classroom

Contribute to department planning, extra-curricular clubs, and exhibitions

Work closely with colleagues and mentors as part of your induction and development
Ideal Candidates Will Have:

A degree in Design Technology or a closely related field and QTS (or near completion)

Knowledge of product design, resistant materials, and modern manufacturing techniques

Enthusiasm for design education and a proactive, hands-on teaching style

Strong classroom presence and a desire to grow within a team-based department

Enhanced DBS check or willingness to apply
