This is a full-time opportunity for someone who thrives in a structured environment and takes pride in meticulous inspection work. As a Quality Inspector CMM Programmer, you will benefit from:
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
  • Permanent, full-time position with early finish on Fridays
  • Working hours: Monday to Thursday 07:30–16:30, Friday 07:30–12:30
  • Working within a modern CNC machine shop with advanced equipment
  • Autonomy to work unsupervised and make decisions

As a Quality Inspector CMM Programmer, your responsibilities will include:
  • Inspecting machined parts to tight aerospace tolerances
  • Performing First Off and Stage inspections of detailed components
  • Completing batch inspections using manual techniques (micrometers, calipers, height gauges)
  • Programming and operating CMM equipment (preferably PC-Dmis)
  • Creating and completing First Article Inspection Reports to AS9102 standards
As a Quality Inspector CMM Programmer, your experience will include:
  • Proven background in a busy sub-contract machine shop environment
  • Strong knowledge of machining practices and geometric tolerances
  • Ability to interpret detailed engineering drawings
  • Manual inspection experience using precision measuring tools
  • Competence with Microsoft Office packages (Excel, Word)
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently
