Exciting opportunity to work for an established FM Property company based near Victoria. CBW is currently recruiting for a Mechanical or Electrical Maintenance Engineer to be based across circa 16 sites within a team of 9 engineers, all of which are within 1 square mile and walking distance from one another. My client is willing to look at candidates who are partly qualified (Level 2 Electrical/Mechanical etc) as long as they have a good attitude with a proven track record in commercial/property building maintenance.

He or she will be required to carry out Electrical & Mechanical planned and reactive maintenance across multiple sites. Working with the maintenance team on-site, he or she will be required to have an understanding/hands-on experience of the below. Key Duties &Responsibilities
  • Lighting (Small installation, Fault-finding, Lamping, etc)
  • Emergency lighting tests
  • Control Panels
  • Changing Ballast
  • BMS System - Monitor (i.e. Hot & cold)
  • Maintain and update Log books
  • Plumbing - Unblocking toilets
  • Pumps, motors
  • Air Conditioning - Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Unit (Filter changes, cleaning)
  • Water Treatment
  • Monitor the BMS systems
  • General building fabric
  • Escort specialist subcontractors
Hours of work
  • Monday to Friday (40 hour week)
  • 08:00am to 17:00pm
  • 1 in 4 Callout
Requirements
  • Mechanically / Electrically qualified (Minimum of Level 2) - You must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates
  • A proven track record in commercial or property maintenance
  • Installation experience
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Happy to cover a large site
  • Honest, hard-working working and reliable
Package
  • Up to 42,500 per annum
  • Up to 30k of OT available per engineer
  • 25 days holiday + BH
  • Company Pension
