Are you a Design Engineer with experience in Hydraulics? Are you looking to join a business that can help to propel your career forward.

This company are well known within their field with over 30 sites across the UK. They are now looking for a Design Engineer to join the team and help to get the company to their projected and expected growth forecasts.

In this role you will design and build hydraulic projects from concept to installation, turning client specifications into working schematics and bills of materials. You'll collaborate with sales and production teams to deliver high-quality hydraulic power units and related equipment.

The ideal candidate will have experience in hydraulic engineering and design, with a background in the hydraulics industry and familiarity with design software. They will be comfortable in customer-facing roles, IT literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office, and experienced in working within ISO standards (9001/45001).

The Role:

  • Design and build hydraulic projects from concept through to installation
  • Translate client specifications into functional schematics and bills of materials
  • Specify and select appropriate components for each projects
  • Collaborate with sales and production teams to ensure project quality
  • Deliver high-quality hydraulic power units and associated equipment


The Person:

  • Experience in hydraulic engineering and design within the hydraulics industry
  • Proficient in using design software and Microsoft Office
  • Comfortable in customer-facing roles with strong communication skills
  • Familiarity with ISO standards (9001/45001)
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
