CNC Saw Operator/ Saw Machinist

We are recruiting for a Sawyer to work for our client who are in Wakefield, West Yorkshire.

THE DUTIES OF A CNC SAW OPERATOR:

• Take the slab of material from stock – Quarts / Marble / Granit
• Vacuum lift to machine
• Programme / Set and operate CNC Saw machine
• Machine cuts material holes, then remove piece to polishing table
• Housekeeping and keep workspace clean and tidy

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCES & SKILLS:

• Minimum 2 years' experience working within a high precision manufacturing background
• You must have industry experience of programming machines.
• Ability to work alone using own initiative and be part of a team.
• Ability to lift heavy materials

THE HOURS:

2 shifts available: fixed days or a fixed lates

Days – Monday – Thursday 5am-2.30pm

Lates – Mon to Thur 2:30pm – midnight and Friday 2:30pm – 6:00pm

THE PAY:

You will earn an hourly rate of between £17-£18 depending on experience. 

If working on the late shift, there is a shift allowance after 6pm per hour of 10%

All overtime paid at 25%

Bonus available on output per piece
