About the Role

We are working with a high-achieving secondary school in Wakefield to recruit a part-time Teacher of Food Technology, starting this September. Essential Requirements

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification.

  • Prepare and maintain ingredients and resources for lessons
  • Monitor and report on student progress
  • Promote healthy eating and sustainability in lessons
  • Differentiate lessons to meet varied learning needs
  • Attend department and staff meetings as required
  • Work closely with other technology staff to support cross-curricular projects
