Our client, an IT global Consulting Company is looking to hire an IT Data Center Stock Take Lead to manage their inventory audits and stock reconciliation activities across their data center environments.

This is a 6 month hybrid contract based at the company's Wakefield and Barnsley's Data Centers, commencement date March 2026.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in IT hardware inventory management and a strong understanding of data center operations.

Key Responsibilities include:

* Lead stock-taking activities at their sites within the specified timelines.

* Perform comprehensive stock audits to ensure accurate inventory records.

* Create and maintain detailed inventory documentation and asset records.

* Identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions to maintain data integrity.

* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of stock-taking processes.

Required Skills & Experience:

* Prior experience working in a data center environment.

* Strong knowledge of IT devices and hardware components (servers, storage, networking

equipment).

* Proficiency in inventory management and documentation practices.

* Attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience working in Banking Data Centers would be a distinct advantage
